Two Strange Things

One: Rona loves the Tomorrow People in all it's 70s sci-fi children's programing glory.

Two: Waking up with the Dead Kennedy's Kill the Poor on repeat in one's head is a little disconcerting.

That is *so* awesome. I've decided, as a kids show, it works. Nostalgia aside, it wasn't nearly so interesting as a grow'd-up. Though, the half-remembered bits are now actually make *sense.*

It isn't as painful as I thought it would be at first but yeah, it's pretty cheese. Rona's reaction makes it the best though. She wants to invite her friend Stella over so she can watch it with her. And if nothing else it will make an excellent stepping stone to Doctor Who who at this rate I figure I can introduce within in the next year (if I start with Tom Baker, because last week's Silence in the Library: creepy in the extreme).

That's so awesome. And The Tomorrow People is *totally* a Doctor Who gateway drug. Though, I know I saw Who first, just not on any sort of regular basis. I've not yet see the linked episode. We're behind, I guess. "Blink" was also pretty creepy. (It's nominated for a Hugo this year)

Blink was really creepy, I put this episode (which just aired in the UK last Saturday) a notch above it in creepiness.
