24 April 2007 09:20 The weekend was great, Ivy had a great time (at least that's what she told us and we chose to believe her), we walked our fool heads off and we even managed to see things we hadn't seen yet, namely the town of Stonehaven and Dunnottar castle. Dunnottar was something of an adventure we knew it was a 2.5 mile walk to the castle but didn't realize what that would entail and so had Rona's buggy. On a trampled down footpath above very, very steep sea cliffs. Then once we got there we realized we could have walked up the road to a much closer car park: Yay adventure! boo to muscles though we walked 8+ miles on Sunday and then I dragged Ivy across Aberdeen in the super quick tour of Aberdeen which of course included lots of walking. And then I did aikido I am the nuttiest nutjob of all apparently.
We have tickets to London for June, the in-laws in two weeks and I realized not very much time left: It's going to just fly by. I'm already more than a little down about that: boo for having to leave! Ah well, at least we'll be making enough money to come back.
And if you are tricky and read this Ivy's secret will be out: she never did try the haggis but is relying on my description of it to fake like she did.
