...the war against my hair. Eight years of the same person cutting it has spoiled me beyond any hope and the mentally deficient monkeys I've found to cut it here have destroyed my confidence (and will probably cost me my self-respect here as well since immediately after the haircut I legged it to Next and bought a baseball cap): I surrender!

Other than that things are going rather nicely. D&D was cancelled on Sunday but BatHotH was well recieved, even with its flaws, as was Guillotine. Tomorrow is out for a pint for Karl-friend's birthday and the inlaw's arrival date slowly creeps closer. Yay!

You know, I had actually forgotten what it was like to have someone else cut my hair and the problems that could arise from it. Sure, not everyone looks good in a #1 clipper buzz, but certainly beats suffering at the hands of others.

The look. I'm brave enough to do it, as I proved when I discoverd I can't pull off the look. le *sigh* Thankfully, it'll be much better in even a week. But until then... hat.
