My head is finally feeling a lot less cotton-y. Of course there's not much to report. [livejournal.com profile] secret_hippie has found some jobs to apply for (here in Aberdeen as well as in Phoenix and Tampa Bay–although I think we decided Tampa Bay just wasn't likely to be worth it, being Florida and all). We're very nearly finished with Heroes (only 5 more hours or so left) and I'm getting ready to re-watch Cowboy Bebop and FLCL.

In six days Sara and I will have been legally bound together for nine years and together for twelve: wow! We're celebrating by skipping town and visiting [livejournal.com profile] slownewsday and [livejournal.com profile] giantlaser down in London Town. It promises to be an excellent weekend filled with good friends, good games and excellent food (as I bet [livejournal.com profile] slownewsday couldn't make a poor meal if she tried). My parents arrive a scant seven days later and will be in residence for three quarters of a month. And then we'll be well into dissertation work. This summer is going to go far to fast I fear.

Well, the only job we know about immediately is the one that I believe Karen has had her eye on for three years now (and hasn't been filled) and while Denver is not off the list of places to look, the cost of living makes it a stretch that we'll find a high enough starting wage, especially when all the earning responsibility falls on Sar initially. :(

But it is a goal, for someday we hope!

Hooray for love! Wish I could be there too....oh well.... I've been to Phoenix. It's not very pretty as far as the arts go...what about Tuscon?
good nature stuff though.

PS....looks like I have a guy to call my own! I think you would really like him.

Make sure you get the extended warranty, it's generally worth it with those high cost items...

The job I'm interested in currently isn't posted. What sort of position is Sar looking for? I'll start forwarding things as I get them...

Also, lots of jobs in CA, especially in the central valley area.

See? I stand all corrected and Karen has pointed out some other things (financial thingys) that we should take into consideration that bump Denver up the list...
