First and foremost if the only traditional "Irish" song you know is The Scotsman. Keep it to yourself. I fucking hate that song and it makes me want to punch you in the face. I don't care if you think it is funny, the song has lost all novelty especially when you can't remember all the words never mind the fact you are tone deaf. Plus I can think of at least two or three French-Canadian songs that are more Irish. Did I mention it makes me want to punch you in the face?

Two do not add green dye to your Corona and call it good. In fact, don't add green dye to any beer: it is stupid and makes me want to punch you in the face.

Now everyone go home and watch The Boondock Saints.

Recently there was a little bit of a hooplah here in Spovegas when a postcard originally mailed in 1912 was finally delivered. Oddly enough my mother brought by a postcard for me today. At some point (most likely somewhere in the years 1993-1995) I was in Seattle at Golden Oldies: Records and Tapes. I had been looking for a copy of Duran Duran's Decadance on vinyl. I got notification today that it was in and if I still wanted it I should call and reserve it. It is an odd feeling to get mail from my old self. I wonder what I would of thought if I could have seen myself in the future. Would the old me be satisfied with what I've accomplished and what I've done? I certainly don't know, I'm too damn close to it can't really see it having played out any other way. Still it's left me oddly reflective this evening.
