5 July 2008 09:28Yesterday was a really nice day: saw Wanted which was just silliness, and also it was like a layered cake: Russian layer, tacked on Hollywood layer, Russian layer, tacked on Hollywood layer. Then went to the Inlaws™ neighborhood for the block party and parade. Had wholesome neighborhood Barbeque and helped Rona ride her tricycle in the parade but in the opposite order. belladonnalin and realized that stuff started nearly two hours earlier than I thought and got to hang out watching baby anarchists (my god! they are just little childrens!) and listening to an outdoor living-room tour. Rona was pretty much lovely all day and stayed up and not-a-crazy-person until nearly 10:30! At the end of the day it just felt nice and satisfying: Yay!
Edit: I almost forgot the part where we might have awesome house karma. We may have found an affordable to rent house with a real work room for me to work in! We've been a little underwhelmed by our apartment which is nice and keeps the rain off and all but is a little small (plus the new upstairs neighbors are a bit much after the nice quiet ones moved out after the flood). Anyway: fingers crossed!
