toosutoI dug into the archives for today's photo post. This was our last day out with folks in Scotland we had breakfast with Robert and Mark down at the Justice Mill and it was wonderful (yet sad). We're nearly at our year anniversary of our homecoming or rather home leaving. Even a year later the States and Spokane are not home I am little frustrated with that I suppose. I find myself almost willing to self sabotage my photography business because maybe once I make a good run at it and fail I can get on with the task of making myself hirable back in Scotland. mrsbrewer for information on Aberdeen a little while ago and dredged up all my happy places and the joy that was living in a city that was more than 1000 years old. In a city where I didn't have to own a car. Where (to be fair) for a year I didn't have to do anything but spend time with my daughter and wife living in one of the most beautiful places ever (although to be fair the Inland Northwest is a really close second). I wish we were there, I know that getting visitors was something that was far and few inbetween but even now I look forward to being able to show people around my city and I still have probably missed out on 80% of what it has to offer (and now with real mexican food). I dunno, I'm just really really homesick and you get to bear the brunt. I am already counting the days until we are back next summer and we don't even have tickets bought yet.
Edit: I have a lot of "to be fairs" when I have issues I can't do anything about in the short term don't i?
