Nothing Much

Had to wander around downtown today to and fro in the cold to take some last minute pcitures for the Inlander's Holiday Gift Guide. Despite it being a bracing 18 degrees Farenheit it was more than pleasant: the sun was shining, I was in no hurry so I could just take my time ambling from the office to Spokandy to Aunties to the Flour Mill and back again. Now I'm just waiting to start production duties for the day, then off to watch the litte sister test for her second stripe and maybe see Sensei (he wasn't in class yesterday but it sounds like I'll be busted down to 10th kyu (white belt — no stripes) if I manage to take his class next quarter.

So does Uncle's still exist? They were going through some turbulent rearrangements of the company when I left there.

Even more curious to know: Does Merlyn's still exist?

Uncles is still there (and is still the best place to get games except for occasionally White Elephant — Settlers of Catan for $29), Merlyns is still around although it moved from their old location and seems even less user friendly than they used to. They no longer carry board games and seem to be focusing on RPGs and CCGs with some comics thrown in.
