So, for those of you that don't are as disconnected from entertainment news as I am, apparently Disney can't keep their greasy mitts off our childhood, thankfully an appropriate response has been prepared. Thanks to Dork Tower, and the Simpsons.

Date: 9 Dec 2005 17:08 (UTC)So how is it that the glut of children's entertainment that's out there now has actually pushed Disney further out of touch from quality kids entertainment? Perhaps the problem is that they want kids to tell them what they want. In my opinion, even adults can't be trusted to tell anyone what they really want--as proof, I offer up my shrug at being asked by Rhonda what I want for Christmas this year.
Feh and double-feh.

Date: 9 Dec 2005 19:19 (UTC)Well thank you Disney for being ever so careful with the earnings potential that is the Thousand Acre Wood. How very big of you. I was quite concerned and can now breath easier. I wouldn't want anyone to miss out on more money from the already one billion dollars/year FRANCHISE that is Pooh. Thanks for watching over the important stuff so carefully.
With Deepest Gratitude,
FEH
