Long But Good

Long days this weekend. I volunteered (just this last Wednesday) to be in a staged reading of Take Me Out a baseball play about a gay mixed-race baseball star and a racist, hick hil-billy pitcher. I'm the Japanese pitcher (BTW kung_fu_monkey I am in your debt forever: I will shower you with ponies and beer until I die). So rehearsal last Wednesday, then my old college play-writing's lecture on Thursday night, followed on Friday night with working to set up my parents new iMac (with built in iSight for cross-Atlantic baby viewing!). Today I had to haul my sorry tired ass across town for more rehearsal and then up to the north side to pick up Dr. Pickering for dinner before he flies back to England tomorrow. A lovely vietnamese dinner tasty and relaxed. Luckily we like to share meals with friends.

Especially since tomorrow we'll have breakfast with mrsbrewer and then a family dinner for Sara's side. Plus we've got to track down a PCI or USB wireless adapter for the antiquated laptop we've put together for Sara's dad so we can (again) keep in touch with family far away. derbiser, I'm pretty sure you never expected how much more use that damn laptop would get: thanks! I'm barely coherent so I think we'll just stop—

I've been pushy about doing it right? I need to look into a little more we were looking at vonage which would allow us to have a local Scotland number as well as porting our home phone over as well so we can remain "local."

Just let me know if you have any problems getting stuff figured out. And download Adium to use in place of the Yahoo! messenger: it's much cleaner! Also set up a AOL screenname for yourself and get iChat set up.

Hey there. I've been working on translating the script and it sounds like you're pretty close to what you wanted to say. I'm going to run this by Sensei to get the official approval, so you should have a completed script back in a couple of days. Is that soon enough?
