Illustration Friday madness! mrsbrewer I will (before tonight is through) send you a pdf of this file along with some print instructions for your printing pleasure.
Well I can't remember you in the kitchen with a flaming oven, that dosn't mean it hasn't happened.
I'm not sure I could make art to remind people of other people (without a big sign anyway). I eschew all things symboligical currently. I now hold to the opinion that perhaps Moby Dick was just a big ass albino whale...
Nah, it doesn't remind me of me; but I still really, really like it. I'm looking for art for my kitchen. Last week's wind piece was more in line color-wise, but how funny would it be to have something like this in there? Especially since Rob does 90% of the cooking in our house.
By the way, how did you get the picture to show up here? I made soemthing for Katie that I was going to share, but in the end, I ended up scanning it into a Word document and emailing it because I couldn't seem to figure out how to do anything else.
The image is hosted over at acid tongue, specifically in the illustration gallery. The cheap and easy (and cheating) solution would be to load it into flickr. That's how I used to do the meta-sketchblogs, I'd take a picture of the sketch load into flickr and then post it here.
Do you mind if people, in general, print your things and prominently display them? I still have the illustration for my birthday (the running from OLD) in our downstairs living room and people really like it.
Mostly not really. I mean if I'm giving pieces away specifically to people they'll have the only copies that are really process for printing and if there is something I do that isn't given out already you can always request the files. My works on display is good validation!
Nice work. The vector execution's a little primitive, and the colors could use some more subtle energy. However, the idea and composition are excellent. Looking forward to seeing your work develop.
Damn you, GSI browsing! Can you email it to my work address if you're bored today so I may gaze upon it? jamie dot wilmore at hmrc dot gsi dot gov dot uk
