Where? Layman, Layman & McKinley

What? I'll be their new (as in they've never had one before) Systems Coordinator.

What, What? I am responsible for maintaining their little server, their databases and providing desktop support to the entire firm (including an office in Coeur d'Alene and an office in Seattle (where the company apartment is.)

Benjamins? Yes please. All bills will be paid with real money now.

Other stuff? I'm salaried and will be able to get sick on someone else's dime again. They are very flexible about my schedule which means they'll call me in the night when something breaks (if they can wake me up - ha!) but they'll allow me to take classes when I want/need to. Which is good because right now I am thinking I will go back to SCC and wrap the A.A.S. degree I started 3 years ago. Although I'll be switching tracks to a networking type focus.

Here are some of the many things Sara and I will get to do now:
  • Go places
  • See people
  • Yoga.
  • Fix our house
  • Clean the carpets
  • Maternity clothes
  • Eat
  • Have electricity and water, sewer and garbage service (I'm not sure they could stop us from using the sewer if we were determined tho')

Conclusion: YEA!

Employment is good!
