I heard back about my freelance bid: they haven't made any decision yet and wanted to just make sure I knew I wasn't forgotten about (en-heartening no?) although I am anxious to get started if it is going to happen. I also broke through a mental block on a custom squid illustration that was driving me a little crazy, the next step is to start building it in Illustrator. The Dundee job closed yesterday and we are hoping that if Sar is going to get an interview we'll hear very soon. (I'm assuming they'd want the new librarian hired by the before the beginning of the school year, I mean wouldn't you?) We have our last international visitor arriving on Thursday and my skype/call recorder set-up is going to work like a dream for Sara's phone interviews (go me!) so we are ready for operation: interview comic book people (once San Diego Comic Con is over of course). Now: to the grocery store!
