We off today to Inverness, we'll be back Sunday sometime. The forecast says rain so keep your fingers crossed for us. GBS plays at 4:30 so if we're lucky we can manage to stay out long enough to see them before the rain drives us in. Or even better the rain will chicken out and run out over the North Sea like the big baby of water suspended at high altitudes that is. Yeah, that's right I said it.
And now a story about an eagle. Towards the end of his section of the demonstration the eagle would hop off the volunteer's arm and hunt for scraps of food on the ground. Or beg for them from the handler, except he wasn't buying it, so the eagle would bite at his leg, feet and ankles trying to intimidate food out of him. So it made me a little nervous when we gave up on the handler and started wandering towards the rest of us. But not so much that I didn't snap this before I scrambled out of the way.
