Stuff and stuff

A good week was had. Much progress was made on various projects (at the very least in my head). I am catching up from the extra work from InHealthNW (another Inlander publication), not that it was a lot extra work or anything but it came along the same time as I ended up with a short week because of the 4th. Yesterday secret_hippie and Rona met me at Riverfront Park when I got off work for a picnic and a kids concert put on by the public radio station. Hooray for French-Canadian reels! Then we picked up Carcassonne because we kept meaning too and Uncles still didn't have The Big Idea in. We are looking forward to castle building madness! I reffed at CSz for the first night and I was even mostly happy with it. Determined that I must remember to do vocal warm-ups before-hand next time, since I am do far more talking as ref and probably shouldn't be tripping over every other sentence. Then after that was done I went out to the Going Away/Hooray For Librarians for my now ex-boss currerbelle and managed to stay out until midnight! Like some sort of grown up. Of course I am paying for it this morning a bit.

Today: bike rides and grandparents, and preparing for the arrival of Kira from Portland: yay! I'll sleep when I am dead.

Or Not.

Torrential rains currently since we had planned to be outside with our pricey outside things (Sara's bike, the baby trailer). Curse you nature!
