Well we are into the first real week and I actually taught real stuff. Still feels like I am just treading water at best at this teaching thing though...
The weekend was pretty nice though. We worked in the yard (we have filled a trailer with yard waste and random trash, and have probably another load of the same to go to the incinerator. The previous occupant of the house was not so much into yard maintenance which is a shame because the yard is great and the garden space is wonderful. We ditched the Moneky™ for a few hours on Saturday evening and saw Tropic Thunder which was hilarious. I laughed and clapped. Sunday we helped friends move some of their bigger stuff and they took us to lunch at Maggie's which is delicious. If you are in Spokane: go there. My pulled pork sammich was heavenly. Monday we didn't do much. I tried hard to finish all my work for over the weekend and fought off a sinus infection. (I'm still feeling kind of blagh.) But all in all times were had!
