Monday and the illustration gig is finished1. Today is for errands and hopefully some doodling, maybe an octopus, and penciling my Instructions for the Most Delicious French Toast comic.

The photo below is from wandering around (escorted) a local data center in the hopes that some of my shots will result in some moneys. Because we like moneys.

Also who would be interested in home brewed acid-tongue (that's me) original silk screened shirts? I have been debating the purchase of a silkscreen for just such a purchase. If you were interested would $18-20 (plus shipping) be too rich for you? Please let me know.

Sadly, I have come to the realization that I only wear t-shirts one day a week at best, and even then only if the shirt is really really comfortable or I'm getting dirty. This significantly hampers my ability to participate in the modern internet economy.

Not too rich! Bring on the shirts! Will you ship across the pond, under the nose of customs? =D

Ah, also, I suggest using whatever t-shirts Threadless gets, as they are awesome. Please never ever use the Bella Babydoll. It is pants. Thanks! =D

They use American Apparel fine jerseys, which are $15 a pop (before shipping) so I probably won't be able to be that fancy, I may be able to get a local line on reasonably priced fruit of the looms (like they use for their Guys tees). Plus I don't know if I could bring myself to directly give AA money. I felt dirty enough when I walked into the shop in London...

Of course! I will send you as many used t-shirts as you desire!

Saddening, but understandable...

Also: of course it isn't too rich for you–it's half price!

Would you be selling your own designs or would you do custom work?
(Maybe this is plain above, but my reading skills are down for repair.)

It's actually super ambiguous. I was thinking I would come up with designs based on personal inspiration and suggestions. More likely suggestions, with a voting element, like Threadless but with lower production values and none of the other designers.

I don't know much about AA, but I thought they were all anti-sweatshop goodness. Is this not true? (There is one near me but i don't go in because I hate paying brand name retail for anything.)

They are anti-sweatshop, but the owner is an ass. Cesa worked there and did not enjoy her time. She would work very hard to avoid this ass whenever he came to New York and when I was super desperate for work I applied for a retail sales manager (they were expanding in a couple of different markets) and I was asked to send a photo of myself when I applied. So anti-sweatshop is good and all but it takes so many other steps backwards...
