Hooray! AT last! Don't do your back in with the boxes! And make sure you have some cash on you for takeaways [I guess you call them take-out??] at the end of the day. Hope the kids are elsewhere during all this. We're going North today about 150km to an old miner's pub in the country! It's tiny, and is now an art gallery and restaurant with a great wine cellar, called The Wheatsheaf Hotel. It's in a tiny place called Allendale North just west of Kapunda [see Google Earth! View Larger Map ]. It's in the middle of some fabulous wine country, not far from a gallery where I have some of my glass work for sale. We are sure to take lots of photos while we're up that way, unless our friend is sick of us interrupting his driving all the time and refuses to stop!
The last time we moved, it was back to my hometown, so I called a friend to let her know we'd arrived and she decided to show up to help. Then my parents showed up, and honestly, it was the best moving-in experience I've had in a while. Not having to move all the boxes yourself is nice.
Yay, congrats! I haven't talked to you guys in so long, I was getting curious. I will be around this evening my time or I am mostly around about 7amGMT on my 'puter but chat or email me and we'll talk. =]
Joys of moving.
