Still No Interwebs at the Casa de Smith

But we did get our last box from Scotland. Sara's parent's mail carrier is getting a bottle of Whiskey because he saved it from being returned to Scotland. The day before thanksgiving a notice was delivered regarding the package that said they had attempted delivery on the 3rd and that would we please pick it up by the 10th or they would send it back (we got this on what, the 20th then?) Anyway they had a temp carrier to cover their regular guys vacation or something. He stopped by the postal station and noticed our package and wanted to know why it hadn't been delivered. Apparently the staff there just shrugged. He told them that this is exactly why people hate us. And then he took our package and delivered it himself.

We've put most of our home in order, although we are short a bookshelf. We'll be sorting through our books to see if we can thin it out a little, although it's not as bad as I thought it would be.

You may have that very same mail carrier, except he's on leave currently. (Which is why he is so awesome, although if some asshat was jerking around my regular customers I'd step in from my vacation too.)
