Good Times Approaching

Oh hey, lest I forget: The Young Dubliners will be playing at some point during the day Saturday, June 26^th. The show will be free in Riverfront Park (I believe in the clock tower meadow.) If anyone wants to come hang out with me and the Wife™ and see this great show (that's free) let me know and I'll be sure to let you know when they are actually playing and what our plan is etc.

[EDIT 6.12.04] I was made suspicious and then confirmed that it is not free. They are only playing at the Big Easy's outdoor stage. So I guess if you want to stand really far away and hear them then it is still free. For those of you with tickets: congratulations, the Young Dubs rock. I will go quietly cry now. Ah well, while saddening this will make it that much easier to avoid Hoopfest.

Young Dubliners in the park, huh? I knew they were playing as an opening band for the Collective Soul concert at the Big Easy (or rather the street outside of the Big Easy) along with my favorite band, Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers... but I've heard good things and I'll probably hang out downtown all day anyway so perhaps I will see you there.

This Collective Soul Concert is on Saturday? And I am betting not free? We've been trying to figure out from the Hoopfest people when/where exactly they were playing but have been unsuccessful so far.

It's like $25 tickets, it's outside the Big Easy. Roger Clyne cancelled all his tour dates now... which bums me out royally. But I'll still be there, enjoying my last night in the state.
