So first off I am now teaching high school photography (got the call from Fr. Kevin Connell S. to the J. around six last evening). So hooray! Now I can panic about something entirely new! I'll be desperately refreshing myself on how to shoot b&w film the next two weeks. Also we'll be shopping for a car. The best thing is I am going to be forced to revisit photography at a very basic level and kill some bad habits and get better, the second best thing is I've just extended my business all the way out to may/june of 2009.

We in the final stages of moving in. all but one box has been unpacked and we are in the stage where we sort of have extra moving trash and recycling that won't fit outside in one week.

My grandmother's funeral was nice and I mean that in a friendly the family got together and celebrated sort of way. It was sad but pleasant. I got to spend more time with my cousins which I really miss because I've never lived in the same place as them so visiting or even just calling/texting/chatting is not second nature and I tend to be sort of reserved (we just don't all know each other that well) but now, hopefully we'll start visiting each other when we can. I especially got to know the new cousin what married in fairly well as he and my cousin Erin were my ride into and out of price. We get along famously.

Below are my youngest cousins (who came along almost before I stopped going along on family vacations due to work and other grown up stuff). Other than that life is good!

Fr. Connell is (or... at least was) a pretty cool guy - he was my high school English teacher and I worked tech for many plays he directed as well.

Never in a million years. I actually had to tell multiple people at one time that I would not get my masters in ed. I don't think I am in any danger of teaching anything else, and for all I know they'll use this year to find someone with a teaching degree or something, who knows!
