I've missed a whole week of training now, but on the other hand I've even gotten around to processing photos from the Aikido seminar. The one below is my favorite but there are a couple more in the flickr stream.

What's your school like? Would you recommend it to new people? I've been thinking about aikido lately, since the shop I work at has a small school across the street, the Aiki Institute of Spokane headed up by, I think, a Mr. Landry.

Seeing as how that's where I am training I highly recommend it. The third thursday and saturday of the month you can come to the basic class for free to try it out (I believe this hasn't changed) and on the whole I find the environment fun and friendly. I tried out the other dojo by prep and while he really knew his stuff I felt very out of place. I laugh often when I train and I figure that means it's good for me. I'll be there Tuesday and Thursday this week if you want to drop by...

Also, are you up for beers? Carroll wants me to organize some beers and/or coffee sometime in the near future...

I'd be up for somethin', sure. Kinda coming out of my period of isolation finally, it'd be good to catch up with people and get active again. I usually work in the afternoons till 5:30, what times are you at the dojo?

I show up around 6pm (class starts at 6:30pm and goes until 9pm). I'll get some sort of email out to you and the gang and see what we can come up with, after 5:30 should be no problem at all...
