Gone, Daddy, Gone
6 October 2008 16:28Oh for the fallen weekend: we hardly knew ye! Time goes too fast when you've got family in town and we sent the Nevilles on their way this morning. But we got in some good television sharing (
goobermunch can no longer avoid seeing the rest of Avatar) as well as three good rounds of Betrayal at the House on the Hill (and one quick game of Tsuro). My observation on Thursday concluded well with a review with my observee (observee, really?) this morning. Good things were said and I am feeling better about finishing out the whole school year (I lost my regular illustration gig so I don't feel I can be disappointed to the point of leaving before June. I've only four class days this week but we are finally getting into a dark room groove which is where I am most comfortable. Work stuff is quiet this week as Spokane Metro swings into pre-production on the November issue. I need to get one of my December food shots scheduled and figure out my second location to review so I can get it done and shoot it to boot. We are slowly beating life into some sort of submission here in Casa de Smith. Unless it is only feigning unconsciousness as part of its devious deception to trick us, spring up and tearing out our metaphorical throats with the sharp sharp fangs of time and energy.
