Oh the week in review:
Class is good, I managed to be caught up on the homework front and I remember how much I detest homework. I don't know why I just automatically rebel no matter how reasonable it is that an instructor might want me to take my learning in hand. At least I am aware of it.
The Teachinating is done. I told them that I would manage the flickr group I created if they wanted to continue taking photos and getting feedback. Like me at that age they can't be bothered: oh well. Sometimes we all prioritize poorly. Speaking of I only did an hour of aikido this week. At least I made it. Next week I start my new flexi-work schedule.
Last but not least I've been waiting expectantly for this weekend, our good friend Pamela in Scotland who is generous, nice and all around lovely was gifted a brand new Sony A300 courtesy of her flickr friends. Her old camera was increasingly held together with rubber bands and the like and so someone took it in hand and fixed the situation. Watching video from thousands of miles away I was happily homesick. Off to baby Dot's party (more flashing lights and pizza for us this week, it is inescapable). Tonight we'll cuddle up on the couch and watch Thank You For Smoking after the Monkey™ goes to bed. Tomorrow: writing and processing and a tiny person photo shoot!
