And already people are undermining my/our authority. The Dr. had floated the idea of inducing before she left town for five days (on our due date no less) but apparently in the last five days decided that was a bad idea and has retracted it.
We are tired, cranky and Sara really wants it to be my turn to hold her.
This is a bad precedent to be setting. You've set an ultimatum, and I'm sure Rona has noted it. However, if she decides to disregard it, what happens next?
You run the risk of losing your parental authority before you've even got the chance to use it for things like her choice in boyfriends or music. At this rate, she'll be dating Young Republicans and listening to pop music by the time she's four.
