Early on I had my dad sit for me but had an off day and they were all *just* out of focus enough I didn’t want to use them. Then I got all busy and every time we were together I either forgot my camera, or forgot to take it out while there was still light etc. Thankfully I planned ahead for the family reunion this year and finally retook the shot. It was worth the wait and I am totally not sorry I co-opted his Nikormat when I was 17. I took a lot of awful photos with that camera, but I took some of the first ones that were worth keeping too. And left me confident enough to make off with the Mamiya TLR. Come to think of it, I do have a roll of 120mm film laying around somewhere…
