I went to Hastings on my lunch and found all three core rulebooks for D&D for $5 a piece. Of course being a true geek I called an expert and made sure that the errata between the first printing and version 3.5 was insignificant before I went a head and purchased them. Now I just need a group to play with.

I played a limited amount with some friends back in Ohio a couple of years ago... I wish I knew where my character sheet was because he was pretty cool...

That's one and Caleb makes 2 actually. I eventually i'll need to playtest a new setting in a system that I am unfamiliar with but this might be a good warm up.

Dude. You ran a 3.0 game before you left Denver, and the differences between 3.0 and 3.5 are really pretty minimal, so you can really only claim unfamiliarity with setting, not system

Wait. Never mind. I just realized that I completely misread your comment, and in fact you were saying that you are familiar with D&D 3.5.

Also it is the Hastings up on 29th. Not some other Hastings since I didn't bother to say which one. They ahd at least 3 more copies of the DM Guide, Monster Manual and Player's Guide
