I'm Around

My apologies (as if any were needed) for my lack of virtual presence. Of late I have been really damn tired for no good reason. Perhaps I have some bug or what not. I'm sure that's it: I am suffering from the tired. It has seemed a chore to even sit in front of the computer to read much less make a coherent post with honest to god content™. My super extend-o weekend was nice. I wrapped up work by 11 am on Friday and played (sort of) all weekend. Friday night I had the honor of playing against an away team from CSz Portland but could not attend the workshops on Saturday since Saturday morning I was penciled into put together the bulk of the IKEA purchases. Our shelf, console unit is 90% built and I'll finish it up this Sunday after the satellite tech has delivered unto us our DirecTV TiVo. I had hoped that construction would take the morning but it quickly swallowed the afternoon as well and I had just enough time to shower before we left for the family dinner for
secret_hippie's birthday (and our cousin Makena since they always celebrate together. Sunday was a oh-my-god-my-muscles day. We also had brunch with our friend Ginnie who had dashed up for a wedding over in Coeur d'Alene that afternoon. Then I blacked out until Monday.

The fourth was, thankfully, mellow. We lounged around and eventually drove back to Sara's mother's house (again) for their neighborhood block party. There was a kids parade.
Which was (as ad hoc parades go) pretty fun.

I got a great picture of this liitle girl who was tres cute. Especially after the parade and she was competing in this water relay where each relay member would run with a cup of water from one bucket to another.

But I know what you've come here for. Like any pusher I am more than willing to give you your fix.
Oh yes all my lost time? I found it. It was in the Scrubs Season One DVDs I got for Dad's Day. Hooray for holidays where I get presents!
