It is less than a month now until we'll be in Denver. We are looking forward to good times and good news, with good friends (you can't lose. This could become a habit).

If we don't end up moving to the distant reaches of Europe I believe that the Denver metro will be at the top of my job hunting. Even if it is nowhere near the ocean.
Isn't there a way we could move Colorado closer to the sea?
The hurricane seems to have failed. We'll have to turn it over to dr_tectonic.
It's reverse immigration. That's where many good jobs are now. Plus it's one way to get overseas. secret_hippie applied for a job in Turkey a few weeks back. They needed someone faster than we'd have been able to get there tho'
I have long planned to move Texas, Oklahoma, and a good chunk of eastern Colorado and Kansas out into the Gulf of Mexico so that we can have some lovely coastline and a nice beach nearby. (Drive twenty minutes east and and hour down...)
Sadly, I have not been able to stockpile enough temblorite to activate the Continental Plate Smasher yet, but I'm working on it.
