toosuto: (Now I Have Your Cat)

I have wanted to post more but than haven't. I managed to completely overthink a rumination on the coming year that had been rolling around in my head before christmas. It can be summed up thusly though: 2006? Yay!

Two weekends ago while hanging out at the Empyrean with mein Inlander comrade Collin I suckered 3 total strangers into playing Betrayal at House on the Hill which was a surprising good time. Speaking of which: this coming Saturday at noon-ish I declare Gin & Coffee: Spokane Edition. Come to the Empyrean for some coffee and gaming goodness. Watch this space for further announcements regarding G&C: SE.

[livejournal.com profile] secret_hippie had e-mailed Dr. Pickering a while back (an old visitng prof. at Gonzaga for those who didn't know him) and he'll be in Spokane in late March lecturing in the Orginazational Leadership program there but is looking forward to seeing us. He was one of my favorite instructors and it will be good to see him again.

There was one other thought I had. I can t ell because I wasn't finished yet. But all this typing seems to have startled it away so I'll sign off with this bit of important and hard won wisdom:

Corndogs fucking rock! There is nothing better than some meat on a stick, covered in batter and deep fried. I said "Good day," sir!

EDIT: I remember now: I updated Acid Tongue with honest to god photos and logos. Good times.

Will you please say hello to Dr. Pickering for me? And if he doesn't remember me, tell him I was in his playwrighting class and played "fallen angel" in the morality plays and "Rose" in The Inside Story...

Thanks! :)
