So when I am feeling like I want to stall on work that needs doing but I need to goof off, I organize. Yesterday I re-configured my email to all run through my gmail account, set up an "office space" (access to my inbox, calendar etc.) in iGoogle. I like the ability to access all my freelancing stuff (at least emails and scheduling) easily from any computer. I also sorted my paypal account out (I have to wait 3-5 days to verify my bank details) so I can start taking orders for prints. Today I'm going to finish off another octopus (I've got 4 in the wings), meet with my IRA account manager and work another closing shift at the Barn. One of my old comrade in arms came there came in last night and we caught up it was nice except for the part where I found out another ex-coworker–whom I really liked–had been there until about six months ago when apparently he was beaten pretty badly. Spokane, you making me really fucking sad sometimes. Here is a picture of the not ugly side of my town.

hey, they got new cars for the gondola ride! Those look classy, in a not-about-to-fall-apart-and-cause-your-plunge-into-a-watery-death way.

Also: Oh, Spokane in the fall. What I have now is a step up from Barstow, but compared to the climes of, say, a Washington or a Michigan, I have shit for seasons.

Sad to say everything in life has a dark side. Your gift of photography is a constant reminder of the beauty in this world. Case in point...this gorgeous shot of the Monroe St. Bridge! Thanks! Aunt Jan
