toosutoFor those of you who may have known her, Lisa Askew (nee Mackey) gave birth to her daughter Lauren early this morning. From her husband Scott:
My dear people -
Lisa and I arrived at St. Pete's at 7:30 yesterday morning. JellyBean/LilPea/ --- LAUREN arrived at 4:34 AM Pacific time, Wednesday, September 1st (dig that, Laura!). She'll be either Lauren Grace or Lauren Justice Askew -- we haven't quite decided that. Lauren weighed 9 lbs. 10 3/4 oz., measured 22" from tip to toe, and had a head circumference of 15" (wonder who she got that from). She is the most beautifullest thing in the world, and even though I'm hallucinating from no sleep, I can't believe how blessed Lisa and I are with a healthy one like this. Pictures will be forthcoming later today -- although we'll spare ya some of the nude shots in the interests of good taste. Lisa and Lauren are resting comfortably in Room 11 at St. Pete's Family Birth Center. It's been a pretty draining time for everyone involved, so please let Lisa get the rest she needs. Between recovery and feeding, there may not be a whole lot of energy leftover. Thanks for making a difference to Lisa and me and sharing with us in this unbelievable event.

Lisa's due date was exactly one week ahead of Rona! Perhaps getting born is viral and she will catch it no?
