How did you change the recipie? It looks like a pretty quick and simple dish, but I am not a big fan of fish.

We skipped the relish and the shallots and substituted well-browned ground beef for the salmon. They are really simple: pretty much put whatever prepared savory filling sounds good and then spoon onto pastry, close it up and bake.

[livejournal.com profile] secret_hippie says she also added minced garlic when she browned the beef and that she sauteed the mushrooms in butter not margerine. But who wouldn't use butter for cooking? Except those anti-butter bastards that killed my uncle! *shakes fist*
