Productive

I've managed to feel pretty useful this week, in addition to trying be a good house husband I managed to get a conceptual sketch approved (small paid work, every little bit counts), moved forward on my monkey button project (I'm working all digital on it now) and even got a flyer built for the aikido club. I've been busy with back and forth emails, chats and even phone calls, I'm kind of energized by it. I even had a decent lucid dream where my parents got a Wii before I did. Actually I'm a little annoyed about that, especially as I think Rona will much sooner be able to play some of the Wii minigames etc. before she'll be able to play Katamari Damacy, no matter how much she likes it. Eventually we'll be working again and I can begin my campaign for better gaming for our child's future!

I Am Not Impressed Herr Jobs

If I didn't have to use iChat I'd stop, since when is chat encryption something I should have to pay for? I just noticed that the current version of iChat does not allow me to encrypt my chats unless I have a .Mac account. What the hell? Just one more reason to hope that video chat is soon able to be wrapped into Adium...
